Where The Bleep Is Robert Pattinson Today? Hawaii

It's no secret Robert Pattinson loves him some island hopping; the actor visited Bora Bora, Easter Island and Iceland recently so it came as no surprise that he was spotted on the island of Hawaii today.

But what might come as a shock is that the actor wasn't chillaxing like he did during previous island getaways (he was spotted being very zen on Easter Island and enjoyed some reading on Bora Bora) but actually decided to try his hand at some surfing!

One onlooker, who was fortunate enough to get a shot of the actor in action, said Pattinson was unable to resist the waves; "He looked like a pro out there."

Earlier in the day, Robert Pattinson was seen buying a board at a local surf shop. The shop owner, bearing a striking resemblance to talk show host Jimmy Fallon, has his own theories why Pattinson is seemingly such a surfing expert and wave crashing daredevil.

"Robert has won many surfboards - I have seen it on TV - so many people must believe he is a good surfer! You don't give a surfboard to someone who can't surf. That's sacrilege to the surfing Gods!"

Where The Bleep Is Robert Pattinson Today? Iceland

Robert Pattinson definitely has a thing for islands. After visiting Easter Island on Tuesday followed by some downtime on Bora Bora yesterday, the actor was seen enjoying nature's finest today in Iceland.

But unlike previous days where Pattinson chose to relax and catch up on his reading, he seemed to surprise onlookers with some extreme sports and a pretty athletic body.

"We were waiting for one of the geysers to erupt when suddenly that guy from Twilight stands there and he's just wearing his underwear," recalls one of the many tourists who were visiting the island famous for its geysers and volcanos. "We had no idea what he was doing but he definitely looked pretty darn good."

Bystanders were even more stunned when the geyser started erupting and Pattinson actually jumped in.

"It was madness," says local tourist guide Magnús. "I have shown people around for years but never did I see someone jump into a geyser. And then it turns out to be Robert Pattinson. It was cool. A story to tell grandkids some day."

One onlooker even snapped a photo of Pattinson and asked him why he did it.

"He said his girlfriend made him do it. His way to pay up after a bet they made."

A bet?

"Yes, something about a guy with a really long beard. He said this guy would shave it off before the start of August and his girlfriend said the guy would let it grow. Guess Pattinson lost and had to jump into the geyser."

Well, forget about planking, coning and cliff diving. Robert Pattinson is setting a new trend: geyser jumping!

Disclaimer: This is all in good fun. No Robert Pattinsons or geisers were hurt, which unfortunately can't be said for the per usual butchered manip.

Where The Bleep Is Robert Pattinson Today? Bora Bora

It seems Robert Pattinson is all about finding places with a low population count these days. But no matter how remote the location, he still manages to get noticed.

The down to earth British actor and global superstar, spotted on Easter Island yesterday was seen on the French-Polynesian island of Bora-Bora today. And while the island, known for its paradise-like qualities, is a major international tourist location, it were locals who spotted Pattinson on the beach where he was reportedly engrossed in some reading.

"He had his nose in a book, he didn't seem to pay much attention to his surroundings," says a local man named Alika who managed to snap a shot of the actor.

"I also think he took a few naps in between but mostly he was reading and writing down some things he read," Alika added when asked about the sighting.

It comes as no surprise Pattinson loves to read. It was reported yesterday the actor recently bought a pricey life time membership with the London Library. That report however was later denied in a CNN Breaking News item, causing thousands of hopeful fans to try and cancel memberships they had bought earlier in the day, sending the library's website and information number into overdrive. The London Library refused any comment on the matter.

So, aside from catching up on some reading, did Robert Pattinson enjoy some fun in the sun? Perhaps working on a getting a tan?

Not in the least, says local fish shop owner Lani. "When he wasn't reading, he was on the phone with someone named "Kristen" and he kept talking about bears."

"He should've worked on his tan though; he looked very pale."

When told that Pattinson portrays the incredibly popular pale white sparkly Edward Cullen in the Twilight series and that he's known for that gorgeous natural complexion, Lani reacts indifferent. "I am Team Jacob. I prefer oily and tanned."

Lani was happy to have seen Pattinson up close though because it solved a mystery for him. "He doesn't actually sparkle. That surprised me, I always thought it was real."

Where The Bleep Is Robert Pattinson Today? Easter Island

With an estimate population of 5000, Easter Island is claimed to be the most remote inhabited island in the world.

Therefore it was a huge shock when no one other than Water for Elephants and Twilight actor Robert Pattinson turned up on the island today.

The locals, unaffected by the superstar aura that follows Pattinson almost anywhere, said the 24 year old actor was chilling, having a smoke whilst admiring the Moai, the 887 extant monumental statues on the island.

"He was sitting there, smoking a cigarette," claims one of the locals. "He looked very pale, he needed some sun."

Provincial Governor Pedro Pablo Edmunds Paoa is one of the few on Easter Island aware of who Robert Pattinson is, admitting he has a few posters of the star portraying Edward Cullen. "It is an honor. Just an honor. Part of my name is Edmunds, which sounds like Edward. I feel a connection there."

When asked if anyone actually spoke to Pattinson, Edmunds Paoa said they wanted to leave the actor be. Locals did however manage to take a picture before the actor left the island.

"We hope he comes back some day," Edmunds Paoa declared. "And brings his girlfriend."
